Finger Trainer Software
Have you ever wanted to play a certain song or solo, but knew it was
beyond your playing ability? As a guitarist there are times that you
have to get back to the fundamentals and learn the different elements
that will allow you to play better, and gain the ability to master the
songs that you want to play.
The fastest way to get there in my experience has always been to do
drill exercises that will mentally and physically challenge you. That’s
the way every great guitarists has mastered the guitar. The main
problem for many guitarists is that this type of practice can become
repetitive, particularly after many years of playing the guitar, which
in most cases leads to your guitar just sitting there collecting dust.
There are many guitar players that can’t even bring themselves to
picking up their guitar, because the mere thought of playing seems to
be more like work then fun. If this sounds like you then you should
check out Finger Trainer software. Finger Trainer software has been
created to solve the problem of boredom and burnout with incredible
success.
Finger Trainer by Guitar Methods motto is that they put the fun back
into practicing the guitar by providing you with a complete band in
the privacy of your home. By clicking on any one of the many exercises
you will not only get the guitar tab for you to study and practice,
but you will also get the audio so that you can actually hear how it
sounds. Unlike many other guitar programs Finger Trainer software
doesn’t use midi. Finger Trainer software features real guitars and
drums, to give you an exact example of how each of the exercises are
supposed to sound like, and provides you with the perfect backing, to
jam along with. I don’t know about you, but playing along with
guitar tabs (or without any thing at all) may be somebody’s idea of
fun, as far as I’m concerned I’d much rather have a guitar and a
complete set of drums backing me when I practice guitar!
One of the really neat things about Finger Trainer is its loop
function. All you do is simply add one or more of the exercises into
the programs queue, and click the loop function button, and press
play. The exercises will begin to play with guitar and drums creating
a realistic band environment, with the guitar tabs moving along in
perfect time to the music, looping over and over as one long track
until you hit the stop button. This looping feature is ideal for
mastering each of the exercises one by one, or any number of
exercises. With the looping function enabled you can work on as many
exercises at the same time as you want to, keeping things interesting
and fresh. With over one hundred guitar exercises built in you will
see instant results.
Once you have mastered the exercises you can add up to two hundred
more exercises. Finger Trainer also comes with exercises to warm up
your fingers, in order to get your fingers ready for practicing,
something every guitarist should do before they begin any practice
session. Brush up on the fundamentals by learning the most essential
and useful scales and chords. Exercises that you can choose from
include, Alternate picking, string bending, tapping, legato, string
skipping, and possibly one of the most desired and difficult technique
of all sweep picking, an often neglected teaching. Learn how to use a
mixture of various techniques so that you can apply them to real life
playing situations. If you are unfamiliar with some of the techniques
mentioned above like alternate picking or sweep picking don't worry,
Finger Trainer comes with a lesson guide that explains every
technique, and how apply them to your guitar playing.
So dust off your guitar and head on over to Finger Trainer for more
info. While you are there be sure to check out the video
demonstration.
